Advertising Terms

Advertising on Ohio420Jobs.com is a great way to reach growing companies in Ohio’s medical cannabis industry, and the skilled workers seeking jobs in our state’s new “Green Rush.” By placing an advertisement in any media platform owned and/or controlled by the Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, including but not limited to Ohio420Jobs.com and/or any of our related communication channels such as social media, newsletters, etc., you agree to make yourself aware of and you agree to abide by these Advertising Terms. Violation of these policies may, at our sole discretion, result in the removal of offending ads from the website and/or the termination of such advertiser’s agreement with The Chamber without notice, refund or reimbursement.

Ohio420Jobs.com is a professional service operated for the benefit of licensed and regulated cannabis companies and related industries in the State of Ohio, and those desiring to apply for positions with those companies. The following types of advertising content are never acceptable, and advertisements containing such content may be removed pursuant to these Terms.

Discriminatory content. Advertisements must not discriminate (nor encourage others to discriminate) in the recruitment, hiring and promotion process on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability, age (40 or older) or genetic information (including family medical history).

Content that violates others’ intellectual property. By placing an advertisement on Ohio420Jobs.com, the advertiser warrants that it has permission to use any and all images, trademarks, writing and all other content in the advertisement, and expressly holds the Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce harmless from any intellectual property claims that may be made due to any alleged infringement.

Pornographic content. The Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce does not accept advertising from companies that produce, provide, or advocate for pornographic products or services (as we define them) nor advertisements that contain pornography, nudity and/or sexually suggestive or sexist imagery that demeans or objectifies individuals on the basis of their gender.

Illegal content. Advertisements must not promote products, services or activities that are illegal or unlawful in the State of Ohio.

Fraudulent or misleading content, including “clickbait.” Advertisements must not contain misleading, deceptive or blatantly untrue statements that promote any company, position, person, service, event and/or product, and/or “bait” the reader with sensationalism to encourage clicks without providing the promised content. This includes, but is not limited to, falsely advertising job opportunities, products, services and/or events that do not exist. This also includes content that states or implies an endorsement by the Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce where no endorsement exists. Advertisers may not use the OCCC logo, nor create advertising art or content that mimics the appearance of OCCC media properties, without express written approval.

Malware, spyware & ransomware. All advertisements must be free of any malware, adware, spyware, or and/or any other potentially harmful and/or malicious code.
